Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential components of a healthy and productive workplace. In this three-week series, we will discuss facilitation techniques for equity and inclusion that can help promote these values by providing participants with practical tools and strategies to create an inclusive and equitable workplace.
The session dates are as follows:
Tuesday, February 6 from 3–4pm EST
Tuesday, February 13 from 3–4pm EST
Tuesday, February 20 from 3–4pm EST
Explore facilitation techniques that can promote equity and inclusion in the workplace, such as active listening, creating a safe space for sharing, using inclusive language, etc.
Understand leading and emerging best practices from cross-disciplinary leaders invested in holding space for nuanced and difficult conversations.
Build confidence through real-time practice facilitating difficult convesraions in a group of like-minded peers
Review case studies that highlight workplace scenarios where equity and inclusion were not prioritized, and ask participants to identify which facilitation techniques could have been used to create a more inclusive and equitable environment.
